For over 25 years, Steve has worked closely with the senior manage-
ment of a broad cross-section of companies with a specialization in the
Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Information Technology and Chemical indus-
tries. As a consultant to those organizations, he has helped to define
their global human resource structure and organizational needs
on both a strategic and operational basis. Steve leads
executive search engagements across North America and
Europe and draws on deep client relationships and executive
talent connections on both continents. In addition, Steve
has provided Executive Search services to satisfy
those needs in a variety of functional
disciplines including General Management,
Finance, Business Development and
Licensing, Clinical Development/Operations,
Discovery, Information Technology, Medical
Affairs, Project Management, QA/QC,
Regulatory Affairs, Safety of Medicines,
Sales/Marketing, Supply Chain Management
and Toxicology.
Prior to forming The Stevenson Group, Steve's last corporate position was as Corporate Vice President and Director of Human Resources for The Macmillan family of companies. He was recruited to that role after serving as Vice President and Corporate Director of Human Resources and Administration for I.T.T. Continental Baking Corporation based in Rye, New York. Steve was promoted into that position after managing Executive Recruitment for a broad variety of I.T.T.'s technology based subsidiaries. Earlier, he had been a Human Resources executive with the Ciba-Geigy Corporation in Ardsley, New York.
Steve is a graduate of Hofstra University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. He did graduate work in Industrial Psychology at the Baruch Campus of the City University of New York and served in the Armed Forces as a 1st Lieutenant and psychological testing officer. He now resides in Ft. Lee, New Jersey with his wife Eileen. They have three adult daughters.
