Adam Bloom Named a Director of The Stevenson Group; Former Strategic Staffing Executive at Pfizer Adds to Search Firm's Commercial and Disease Management Functional Expertise
FORT LEE, NEW JERSEY, November 3, 2006 - The Stevenson Group, a leading pharmaceutical and healthcare specialist executive search firm with 28 years' experience meeting the leadership needs of Fortune 100 companies across multiple industries and management functions, announced today that it has hired Adam Bloom of New York, N.Y., as a Director.
Mr. Bloom joins The Stevenson Group from Pfizer, Inc., in New York, where he was a Senior Manager in the Strategic Staffing Group. During his tenure there, he closed over 200 executive search assignments, applied skills in behavior-based interviewing, and actively analyzed all recruiting metrics to understand market trends and improve organizational performance. He was also an active member of Pfizer's Diversity Recruiting Team.
Stephen M. Steinman, president and C.E.O. of The Stevenson Group, which recently opened an office outside Geneva, Switzerland to serve the firm's growing roster of client organizations in the heart of Europe's expanding pharmaceutical and life sciences business centers, said Mr. Bloom was hired to lead executive search engagements for Pharmaceutical and Technology companies, especially for the commercial, business development, technology, finance and disease management functions, among others.

Prior to joining Pfizer, Mr. Bloom led his own firm, Bloom Consulting, managing consultative search relationships independently, a role he assumed after a nearly three-year stint with Insearch Worldwide, a retained executive search firm in New York City. During his tenure at that firm, Mr. Bloom managed on-site executive staffing engagements for clients such as AXA Financial and Priceline.com, and had the opportunity to partner with Senior Management on many traditional executive search assignments. Earlier, he worked with the Leisure Division of Sodexho Marriott. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware and is now enrolled in a Professional Certificate program in Human Resource Management at New York University.
