Retains Michelle Lee Byington, PhD as a Senior Consultant

FORT LEE, NEW JERSEY & ST-PREX, SWITZERLAND, September 24, 2008 – The Stevenson Group, a global executive search firm focused in the pharmaceutical, healthcare & technology sector announced the addition of Michelle Lee Byington, PhD, as a Senior Consultant.

Michelle joins The Stevenson Group from a global pharmaceutical company headquartered in New York, where she served at a Consultant in Talent Acquisition recruiting MDs, PharmDs, and PhDs into Medical Science Liaison and Medical Outcomes Specialist roles. Additionally, she spearheaded sourcing efforts for their Outcomes Research and Evidence Based Medicine teams.

Prior to that, Michelle led her own firm, Byington Scientific Recruitment, which specialized in recruiting PhD Computational Chemists and Biologists, Molecular Modelers, Force Field Developers, and Scientific Programmers to work in Drug Discovery.

Michelle began her recruiting career in 1998 working with several technology companies associated with the D.E. Shaw Group, including Juno Online Services, Schrodinger Inc, and D.E. Shaw Research.

Michelle obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Yale University and her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University. She is also an avid plein air and figure painter who has exhibited in New York City, most notably at the Art Students League.
